History
Graeagle began as a mill town know as Davies Mill. Arthur Davies moved his mill and many of his little red buildings via train from their Sardine Valley location to this area in 1916. In 1920, the California Fruit Exchange, (CFE) bought the town and mill to manufacture fruit boxes. Then in 1958 the town was bought by the West Family, who currently maintain it today.
